MOONRISE KINGDOM
PUT A LID ON IT

Lately I've become quite the hat fanatic. When I first chopped my hair off I thought I couldn't wear hats because it would hide all of the hair I had left. Oh how wrong I was. Now-a-days I wear hats every day, especially in the colder weather. I've become very fond of a certain cloche hat I've had for a few years now. The other day while perusing Etsy I found the most precious milliner the web has ever seen. Behold: Behida Dolic. The answer to my cloche prayers. These hats are truly amazing, and each one is hand crafted by Ms. Dolic herself. You can find her at her Etsy shop or at her own website, www.behidadolic.com. Try not to fall in love with ever single hat. It's hard, I know. Impossible? Maybe...

Parents, two
Parents

Have we all been on My Parents Were Awesome? No? Well visit it, because just as the title says, it is awesome!
Denim

I'm not really the biggest Lady Gaga fan. Sure, I'll follow up with the latest videos and shake my bum to her tunes at parties, but you won't find her on my iPod and she certainly doesn't sneak into any of my Pandora stations. There is, however, something magical about her fashion sense. Say what you will about her garish outfits and ridiculous garb. It's the fantasy side of fashion that we don't see every day. Yes you can criticize her less-than-practical outfits, but who doesn't want to own a bedazzled denim bra? I certainly do! I would find a way to work it into my wardrobe. And the leather jacket she dons in Telephone, don't anyone tell me they wouldn't like that piece in their closet. I watch that video just to drool over that jacket, as well as the other hardcore outfits I could never find a reason to wear but desperately want to. So no, "Marry the Night" isn't repeating on any playlist of mine, but I am certainly a fan of her fashion sense.

MICHI

Gotta love a good lingerie spread. Michi is actually lingerie-inspired athletic wear. Their look book proves this line looks fierce in and out of the gym. I love this brand because while they are wildly edgy, feminine and sophisticated, they focus on the most important part of active wear: the fit. Using fabrics (like four-way Swiss nylon lycra) that are light weight and easy to wear. The collection is easy to layer, mix and match. Perfect for those of us who need to feel put together, but also like to be comfortable :)
